New 2009 season members meeting, Tuesday, April 21 6:30 pm band room M2
Come at 6:30 p.m. to the band room (NPHS room M2) for all interested incoming freshmen and new Colorguard (Winterguard)
and Drumline members. At 7:30 pm in the NPHS gym, see the Drumline and Winterguard perform their 2008 competition shows.

NPHS Marching Band and Colorguard 4th Place Finish
Congratulations to the Marching Band and Colorguard for finishing in 4th place at the Western Band Association 1A Class Championships on Saturday, November 17th. The Marching Band and Colorguard placed 15th overall of the 41 1A/2A/3A bands competing. A special thank you to all the parents and volunteers who helped out this season.

Physical Exams are needed for ALL band & colorguard members
Please schedule your physcial exam BEFORE band camp starts (Mon., Aug 13th). You
can pick up a physical exam packet at Newbury Park High School (The school office opens in August
805-498-3676). There may be a few extra copies in
the band room, so check with
Donna Dichirico for more info.
